GLO MINERALS REVIEW & GIVEAWAY

By 11:11 , ,

I have never tried any products from Glo Minerals before and so the lovely Eve from The Hut Group sent me both some products to review and also a gift set to giveaway (see below). Glo Minerals is readily available on the HQ Hair website although I've never actually seen it in any stores in the UK, so buying online is probably the easiest option.

Glo Minerals Precise Micro Eyeliner* - £9
The Glo Minerals Precise Micro Eyeliner is a pencil liner which twists up, which means that a pencil sharpener is not needed at all, making eyeliner a lot easier. With the nib being so thin it does mean that the eyeliner snaps fairly easily so it's important to make sure to only turn it up ever so slightly to prevent breaking. With it being so thin, tight lining is an easy process and it literally takes seconds to do it. The pigment is nice, only one swipe is required to get an opaque line although I do find that it doesn't last for too long on the waterline without fading. I think the only product which will stay on my waterline for a considerable amount of time is a permanent marker - oh goody!

Glo Minerals Blush in 'Bare'* - £14.00
I fell in love with this blush at pretty much first sight - I don't like pink blusher too much as I think it makes my skin look washed out and sometimes it makes my face appear more red. This blush is a lovely colour and whilst brown does look quite boring, it looks gorgeous on the skin. It adds a lot of warmth and I think it looks perfect paired with a nude lip - I've been wearing it with Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 08 and I can't get enough of it. With it being the colour it is there is no need to wear a bronzer either, so you can pretty much just slap this on and go. The pigment is really nice - it's not too much but it's enough to just need one swipe and then blend.

Glo Minerals Clear Brow Gel* - £12
The Glo Minerals Brow Gel literally does what it says on the tin, It's a clear gel which is ideal for setting eyebrows. I've never really set my eyebrows before, I usually just use powder and go but I find that with this I get a much nicer finish, and my brows stay in place a lot better. I kind of don't know how I dealt without a brow gel before because it just makes it so much easier to get an even, neat shape.

Thanks to Eve, The Hut Group & HQ Hair I also have one of the Limited Edition 'Red Carpet Collection' sets from Glo Minerals. The set contains:
